BMW i7 and Mercedes EQE: two electric vehicles for your transfers on the French Riviera
Cannes Limo Service offers two 100% electric vehicles for private travel on the Riviera: the BMW i7 and the Mercedes EQE. The rest of the fleet — Mercedes V-Class and E-Class — runs on diesel.
This is not a "green" fleet as a marketing exercise. It is an available option, for clients who request it.
Why offer electric vehicles?
Three types of clients ask us this question:
Hotel groups and ESG-committed concierges. Since 2023, several Palace hotels on the Côte d'Azur have integrated low-carbon mobility criteria into their transport partnerships. Being able to say "yes, we have electric vehicles" opens doors.
Corporate clients subject to CO₂ reporting. A Nice Airport → Cannes transfer (33 km) in a diesel vehicle produces approximately 7.5 kg of CO₂. In a BMW i7 charged on the French grid (90% nuclear + renewable): under 2 kg. For a volume of 50 missions per year, that is a documentable difference on a carbon report.
Clients who appreciate silence. The most pragmatic argument. At 130 km/h on the A8 motorway, a premium electric saloon achieves a level of silence that combustion engines cannot match. For a passenger working or sleeping, this is concrete.
The BMW i7: for those who refuse to choose between comfort and conscience
The BMW i7 is not an electric vehicle disguised as an executive saloon. It is a BMW 7 Series — the reference standard in executive saloons — with an electric drivetrain.
- Range: 600 km (WLTP)
- Interior: Merino leather, optional panoramic rear screen, maximum sound insulation
- Capacity: 3 passengers + luggage
- Charging: DC fast charge compatible (175 kW)
The Mercedes EQE: E-Class heritage, without fuel
The Mercedes EQE carries E-Class DNA in a native electric architecture. Same finish level, same silence, same MBUX technology — without the compromises of a conversion.
- Range: up to 654 km (WLTP)
- Capacity: 3 passengers + luggage
- Charging: AC and DC compatible
What we do not do
We do not offset the emissions of our diesel vehicles with carbon credits. We do not claim a "carbon neutrality" we do not have.
What we do: offer a real electric alternative, on vehicles of the same service level as the rest of the fleet.
If your ESG policy or your end client's requirements demand it, we reserve a BMW i7 or a Mercedes EQE. That is all.
Cannes Limo Service also accepts payment in Bitcoin, Ethereum and stablecoins — since 2018.
