Travelling with young children requires the right equipment — not just for comfort, but by law. In France, all children under 135 cm or 10 years old must use an approved child restraint system. Our chauffeurs are trained on correct installation, and all our seats meet European ECE R44/04 or R129 (i-Size) standards.
Baby Seat
0–18 months · Up to 13 kg
For newborns and infants. Rear-facing position distributes crash forces across the baby's back, shoulders and head — the safest position for the youngest travellers.
The baby seat can be installed in the front seat only if the passenger airbag is deactivated.
Child Seat
9 months – 4 years · 9–18 kg
Once your child can sit upright unaided (around 9 months), they can transition to a forward-facing seat with a 5-point harness. Provides superior protection compared to a seat belt alone.
Children should remain in a forward-facing seat until they outgrow the height/weight limit.
Booster Seat
3–12 years · 15–36 kg · 100–150 cm
For older children who have outgrown the child seat harness. Raises the child so the seat belt sits correctly across the chest and hips rather than the neck and stomach.
Never use a booster seat without a shoulder belt — lap belt only is not sufficient.
French Law on Child Car Seats
Under French Highway Code (Article R412-1), all children under 10 years old or 135 cm must travel in an approved child restraint system adapted to their weight. Non-compliance carries a fine of €135 and points deducted from the driver's licence. As a professional operator, we take this responsibility seriously — your child's seat is verified before every journey.
